Job Description:
Working on reality TV shows, you will learn scene corrections, visual narrative, marketing, advertising, TV graphics, and others in a real-world, fast-paced environment. Check with your career center for class credits. Start learning on the job. Skills in using Adobe Master Collection and Microsoft are helpful.
Requirements:
- Goal-orientated digital editing
- Communication between director and production team
- Reviewing raw material to determine shot list
- Trimming content to follow logical sequence.
- Manipulate film and video footage to create a coherent and complete project
- Manipulating content to piece together stills, footage, sound effects, dialog, and animation effects
- Creating final cut for broadcasting
Responsibilities:
- Studio arts, film and visual editing, business/accounting, art history, communications majors (preferred)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
- Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience
- Passion for video editing
- Demonstrate attention to details while maintaining perspective of overall project flow
- Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro
